Day 1

Well, today our move has officially started. Drew and Ian left Savannah around 1445 EST. They arrived in Atlanta and have since left and are on their way to Brussels. They should arrive at 0830 Local Time and 0230 EST. They seem pretty stocked for the plane ride. I loaded them up with snacks and they brought the Sony PSP (with several games and movies), a portable DVD player, and Drew’s laptop. Hopefully they have plenty of things to keep them occupied. I hope they will both get some sleep as when they get there, their day really begins.

I’ll update once I hear more.

    I am happy to see the waiting is over! Sometimes the waiting is harder than the actual event! Have you sold the house yet? When will you and Abram be going? Did you get the package I sent with the boys clothes? And lastly, I didn’t get the job so I’ll be going back to school. They offered me a lower level management position, but in the long run I think, hope, that a degree will help me. I guess only time will tell! Good luck with the move! Hugs and Kisses to the boys!

    Well guys you’re off and running again! I wanted you all to know that Ponya, Mya and I love all you and consider you a part of our family. We truly appreciate the friendship, luaghs and good times we were able to share with you! I think Ponya is going to miss her “baby” Ian! She was bragging about him to one of the moms in her mmoy and me group! We hope that you all have a safe and uneventful move and get settled without any issues. I told Drew that after I change command next year we would like to take some leave and come visit you! Believe me after 3 years of teh 82nd I’ll be ready for a nice change of pace.     Liza - I’m sorry to hear about the job, but its great you are seeing it as an opportunity. That’s how I’m trying to look at the move! We did get the package, thank you for that. We got it right in time!

    Dave - You know we love you guys and you are our family as well. We would love to have you so just let us know!
